Richard Rozier joined GRS as a Principal in 1998, and is the former Mayor of the City of DeSoto. His strong regional leadership was recognized by other public officials through his election to the Board of Directors of the North Central Texas Council of Governments, and his selection to the Dallas Regional Mobility Coalition. He served on both of those Boards. He was also active in the Texas Municipal League, and the Metroplex Mayors Association.
As the principal of Governmental Relations Specialists (GRS), I work with clients that seek to do business with County or City government. My firm brings over three decades of successful relationship building to the marketplace; we have established the most effective network of local, County, and State officials (elected or staff) available today. With my years of service as a Mayor in Texas, I am familiar with all aspects of the purchasing process within the government setting and can provide strategic guidance to reach a successful majority vote on your project.
As these years of service taught me to become an effective consensus builder, this experience helps us frame effective strategies for Companies that need to get to the right people, at the right time with a proposal. I know the pressures officials face today as they perform the duties of their office. This understanding allows me to quickly establish rapport and develop long-term contacts that lead to positive support. I have established a support team to ensure we are there when you need us.
